Pantheon President Presents at Ektron’s Synergy Conference
Arlington, VA, October 28, 2008 - Mark Tobias, President of Pantheon, an online technology company based in Arlington, VA, presented on October 23, 2008 at Ektron’s Synergy 2008 Worldwide Customer Conference in Boston, Massachusetts. Tobias led a session titled “Deploying Ektron in High Availability Environments.” Pantheon is a Platinum Certified partner of Ektron and has worked extensively with Ektron and its market-leading CMS400.NET content management software (CMS) over the past several years. Pantheon also provides hosting services for many of its Ektron clients in its high availability data center.
Synergy, held October 21-24, brought together business and technology professionals looking to purchase, implement, and further develop their websites using Ektron’s CMS platform. The conference offered various educational and technical tracks where Ektron experts, such as Pantheon demonstrated how to customize the capabilities of the CMS to meet their needs.
Tobias led one of Ektron’s Business and Partner Sessions, offering insight on website hosting, specifically for sites that are high traffic and must be accessible at all times for employee and member needs. Pantheon provides such hosting for clients, offering a stabile data center to ensure a constant live website. Tobias showcased best practices, real-world examples, tips and tools to business users on how to create an effective hosting environment.
“We often choose Ektron for our clients because of its exceptional value in terms of price, features, and the flexibility it provides to our engineers to extend the core software. That said, our clients often have the need not only for multiple applications, but un-interrupted service and additional memory”, explained Tobias. “We understand the need of high availability hosting environments for Ektron-backed mission critical sites and hope sharing our knowledge on the subject, will help attendees sustain more productive, successful sites.”
In addition to Tobias’ presentation, Pantheon attended Synergy as a Partner Exhibitor, meeting with attendees to share Pantheon’s vision, services, knowledge, and advice on implementing and developing Ektron’s CMS. Pantheon has several Ektron CMS implementations ongoing and continues to develop its reputation as a leading Ektron partner in the mid-Atlantic with a particular emphasis on work for associations and non-profits.
Pantheon was founded in 1994 and since then has been successfully applying online technologies to real world business problems for both association/non-profit and commercial clients. To learn more about Pantheon, its solutions and services, visit us at www.panth.com.
