Pantheon helps foster the DC Area Ektron Development Community
Arlington, VA, January 30, 2009 – Pantheon, an Ektron platinum certified partner, is facilitating regular meetings for Ektron users, partners, and prospects through the establishment of an Ektron local user group. The goal is to help bring together the DC area Ektron community to share experiences, challenges, solutions, and resources for Ektron’s CMS 400.NET content management system. The initial DC area meeting will be held on February 24, 2009, at Liberty Tavern from 5 to 7 pm in Arlington, Virginia. The event is free and open to anyone interested in or currently using Ektron. Registrants can sign up on the DC Area Local User Group website at www.ektron-dcusers.com.
While Ektron’s market share has grown rapidly, there are few community resources available locally for users and certified partners. Pantheon hopes this will be the first of many regular meetings to help extend the Ektron community, joining together experienced and novice users and partners. The meeting also will be open to those weighing the benefits of commercial CMS software like Ektron vs. open source or other solutions.
“As partners and users we believe it will be beneficial for users to come together to share experiences implementing Ektron’s CMS,” explains Mark Tobias, Pantheon’s President. “The February meeting will provide an informal setting to discuss what attendees want out of a user group, including frequency, location, and topics for future meetings, as well as an opportunity to share ideas, resources, and tools available.”
Ektron has provided affordable Web content management and authoring solutions for nearly a decade. Its CMS400.NET platform is a market-leading platform that offers extensive built-in functionality along with great flexibility for developers.
Pantheon was founded in 1994 and since then has been successfully applying online technologies to real world business problems for both association/non-profit and commercial clients. To learn more about Pantheon, our solutions and services, visit us at www.panth.com.
