Qualified Clinical Data Registries (QCDR) aim to improve the health care industry by collecting clinical data from clinicians and reporting it back to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). QCDR’s aim is to develop measures that will help clinicians improve the quality of care provided to patients. Our work with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s National Outcomes Management System collects data in the fields of SLP and Audiology and demonstrates value through advanced reporting.

Quality improvement (QI) is the analysis of performance measured data in efforts to test and improve performance. AHRQ QI collects data on performance measures for healthcare systems across the country and provides reporting that informs our understanding of the state of healthcare in the US.

EMR Integration that seamlessly collects patient health information and data shared by clinicians enhances the ability of products to collect accurate and timely data. As part of the ASHA NOMS product, we used SMART on FHIR technology to ensure that any health system connected to major EMRs can integrate, reducing the data collection burden on their clinicians.
